Well..it's on the trailer..ready for the trip to Burbank on Friday. I know ...I'm a wimp! I could drive it in, but I can't carry all my stuff ( bicycles and things) that way.
Anyway, Michael and all the cobra folks, ...see you all Saturday morning.
Bill
Thanks Michael for doing all the planning and coordinating.

I have to cancel. Father is in the hospital going to tripple-by-pass, may have to fly out soon to Ohio.
Sorry I will miss it.

Bill, we look forward to seeing you.
Xavier (Allen), not a problem...best wishes with that.
Here is a note from our coordinator at Peterson regarding the Parking....
As mentioned, free-validated parking tickets will be provided for individuals who will be bringing their club car. Michael, please pick up the free validated tickets from Security.
If the number of participant club cars exceed on the day of the event, please collect parking tickets from the extra club members and have Security free-validate the additional parking tickets. (Note: Please be advised, the club representative is the only person allowed to receive the free-validation for additional parking tickets.)
When entering the museum, it is important that you keep your original parking ticket received from the automated parking machine, and to insert the parking tickets properly when leaving the museum. When exiting the museum at the parking structure, please insert the parking ticket received from the automated machine, and secondly insert the free-validated chaser parking ticket.
So if you decide to attend, and are not on this list below, tell me so we can get you validated. The key here is you need to drive your Cobra or Daytona.

I will be there at 10 sharp. Can't go to Gladstones though. That sounds too fun.

Michael,
I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for dreaming up the Peterson Automotive tour. My wife and I had a fantastic time. Unfortunately, we weren't able to make it to Gladstones. So I am hoping it didn't rain there as well.
Again, thanks for setting this up...it really was great!!!!!

Thanks to everyone for coming....it was a blast. The slight drizzle for some with the downpour for others! Beautiful!
Also, hats off to Tom for breaking down in the morning, getting a flatbed tow home, fixing the problem then driving to meet us at Gladstones! I Salute You Sir!
Ron wins the prize for the longest contiguous drive...he came in direct from Bakersfield...after starting in the morning with car on the trailer, getting 20 minutes into it, turning around, unloading the car and making the trek!
Bill however wins for being the Club Member to travel the longest distance to attend...Arizona!
I would like to also ask everyone if there is additional interest in a larger format with an overnight stay?
I would also like to plan some other regional events, so stay tuned!
Just a couple of photos....if you have more, post them!

Same from me
Thanks for setting up the tour and having everything squared away. The people from Peterson were on top of everything. Thats a pretty cool museum that I probably never would have gone to on my own.
Again thanks!!

Hey Mike,
A big thank you for setting this all up, although like you mentioned, I missed most of it. I felt it was a "point of honor" as my Dad used to say, to show up. Like after you've really tied one on, you have to at least report to work the next morning on time, then go home sick.
Including the flatbed trip for me and wife (she rode back home for free), the new SS hose clamp and Gates hose coupling, that was the best $105 Bloody Mary I ever had!! Not counting the fill up on the way home. I'm getting the Auto Club Plus membership tomorrow in lieu of the Basic coverage. Thanks to Bob from Hillbank and one other Cobra guy who stopped on the freeway to see if I needed a hand while the flatbed was there.
It was a pleasure meeting the other guys, including all who drove 3hrs + like from Santa Maria and other places north and south. I agree we should have another one and I promise to show up on time. Here's a picture of who was left when I got there.
And here's one of the old man the next day at the COCOA Shelby Show in Irvine. What a difference a day makes in the sunshine department. Thanks again, and I look forward to your next outing.
