I realize that the ability to "post reply" was deleted from the classifieds because of those that either bad mouthed the content of the ad or just said stupid things. Rather than take away everyone's ability to ask questions, request more information, etc., why not report the person and after 3 infractions, ban them from CC? I know that since this has been put in place, I have wanted to comment on a car I was familiar with and help the classified by telling positive first hand information.

I don't know about you, but I just checked the classifieds and I can post comments / replies. I'm a paid member / contributor, so perhaps that's the reason - but that's just a guess on my part.

I can post a reply here, but not on the car classifieds.
This is what the moderator sent me when I asked about it.
"Nope...we ended up having to moderate the area too much from morons asking stupid questions or attacking the cars, etc."

I can also post to the classifieds.

However, a real buyer will contact you one way or the other through the general forums software.

Of course posting and reposting it every time your car comes off the first page could be turning potential buyers off. Either that, or your price is too high, or maybe even this is not quite your target audience on this site.
