Just curious, are you behind a firewall?

It works for most people, but not some, including me while I am at work. At home it's fine (same configuration as you). It has to do with the compression of the page. If I turn off the compression it works for everyone, but the page does load slower.

Hi Brent, I have a Linksys Router and I use Zone Alarm. I tried shutting down Zone Alarm but no go, this only appeared in the last two days. My only configuration changes in the last week is an update of PestPatrol which has a memory resident module, I will try shutting that down.

Follow up. Shut down Zonealarm, Pestpatrol, AV and still no go on main page.

I changed the compression over the last couple days and it's an easy fix (get to it tonight), but that means the home page will load slower (same as it's always been though).

Brent-
Still works fine at home, but I won't be able to tell you about work until Monday morning.

Main Page work fine now with my router and ZoneAlarm.

Another issue if I may. When a get an email notification, I click on the link and it takes me to the forum but I cannot post to the thread without logging on. Is there a way for the email link to read my cookie and have me logged on and ready to post?

It sounds like your cookie is hosed. You might try deleting it and logging in and then see if it works from those links.

If I enter the forums dirtectly the cookie works fine just does not work from my email. It may be a Hotmail problem. I will forward the forum email link to my ISP mailbox which uses Outlook 2000 and do some testing.

Thanks

Question

Brent,

I have exactly the same thing happening as Aloys except I am missing the whole right side of the home page. I have cleaned out all cookies, trace files, and everything else and it stays the same on both of my computers. To log on I have to either go to the active topics list or the gallery as that part of the home page is not showing up at all for me. It was working great yesterday afternoon about 3 o'clock Pacific time and then when I started to log on this morning this is what I am getting.

Ron

Brent-
The home page seems to be working fine again.

There is one feature that is no longer working for me though, I can no longer hold my mouse over a post and read it without clicking on the actual link for the post.

Thanks for all your hard work,
Mike
