Old Timers Section Or Forum

Interesting I thought. Whats this about an "Old timers" section. Does he mean as in age, when they joined the forum, amount of time spent in here, contribution.......what!

Now that I have read the thread, still confused, a bit. Mainly about where I fit and how one decides who is an 'old timer' and who is not.

I am not old (even if I was I would not say so!), so no dice there. I have been lurking here since 2001, does that make me an old timer? I have the 15th highest post count on this forum (mostly drivel but heh, at least I am here), does that make me an old timer?

I will just wait and see what comes!

I don't think I was ever more p!ssed then when I received my AARP application in the mail... Screw em'.
For the most part it's a bunch of old farts sitting around complaining that not enough is being done for them.... Certainly not the entire membership but enough for me to keep my distance. Of course when I'm on the road and looking for a motel, I'll tell them anything to get a cheaper room. It's when they ask me for the membership card that it all falls apart... thank God for triple A.

Don't feel bad Al. My wife got her AARP card in the mail YEARS ago. She sure does look good for her advanced years!

Jay, I missed this thread somehow...Ooops. Lots of ribbing, but I heard a sincere request in the beginning.

Lets talk about this a little more. I could easily make a forum area for the "old timers" (assuming you are not referring to age, but rather when registered). Some questions:

What is the cutoff date? How often do I update? Do I update? Thoughts?
