Default Superformance hood rivets

Anyone know where to get the hood rivets for a SPF. Are they generic or special order. They appear to be stainless steel.

Thanks in Advance

Just noticed that a few of my rivets were backing out of the hood (SP 1085). Is there a "best method" of gluing them in place? Tried pushing them down but they don't seem to stay very well. I would hate to loose any. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Be carefull you may have to get the rivits out some day. I would sugest using a toothpick and placing some clear silicone in the hole than pushing the rivet in. You do not want the silicone overflowing on the paint so a little is better than alot. You will also notice the rivets aren not concentric or perfectly round you may be able to rotate the riviet to get a tigheter fit or gently squeze the bottom to make oblong and push in.

If you look close all they are just pop rivets with the stem removed. You can can take a real rivet, polish it and then clear coat it, apply a very small amount of silicone on the end and install.

I measured them to match them and they are just off the shelf rivets from Mcmaster.

They are a controlled substance from SPF HQ. McMaster is the next call.
