I typically run 26 front and 24 rear for street driving. Dropping it 2-4 psi from those levels will really improve the grip.

How about when you had them put on and balanced did they have to be filled to what it says on sidewall? and then you lowered them to 24 &26.

Don't recall, but I had them road-force balanced.

I agree with the 26-28 psi measurement. I don't run mine much lower unless I am on the track but even then it is closer to 20-22. I am sure everyone is different but I don't know why you would ever run these tires under 20.

PS...Since you are up north as well, I thought I would tell you to check your pressure often as you store the Cobra. At least every two months(maybe more often), you will need to add some air to these tires.

I used to run higher pressures, but when it was on the dyno it was spinning the tires at 22 psi. We lowered them to 18 in the rear so it would hook up, and I just left them there for the street. I have never had an issue with them at 18 psi, so that is what I run now.

I find that 2-4 psi in either direction makes a pretty big difference for my car. It handles best on the street at 28psi front, 26 psi rear. The tires start to hunt a lot when it gets down below 24 psi.

I've had them for 4k-5k miles. For street driving I reduced the hunting/darting some by airing up the front to 30 psi, rears at 28 psi. I could probably go a little higher, but the car feels good at these pressures.
