Need One Shiny Little Screw
I have SPF 2608 and need one chrome oval slotted M5 .8 thread 12 mm screw to go into the side chrome bracket on the windshield. It is the top screw. Of course, there is not one for sale within 100 miles of where I live! I looked online and didn't find anything. I hope I have described it properly. Any ideas where I can find one? Thx!

This one work?
If not, I have a hardware store in town that has a huge fastener department, including lots of chrome stuff. I can look next time if you're not in a hurry.

Try Lowe's and Homedepot?
Ward you would be better with a stainless steel screws instead of chrome. Just a Thought. Rick L.

Try AUVECO.com, they have all types of auto trim fasteners and are distributed through Parts Plus auto stores in the USA they have SAE and Metric fasteners.

Be VERY careful with the length of ALL screws related to the windshield. I recommend you order the proper length/style screw from Hillbank in Califorina. Then be absolutly sure that the length of the screw they supply does not allow it to touch the edge of the glass. That is unless you want to purchase a new windshield glass piece.
