SPF 402 header
Hi all. Anyone know if its the 402 header is the one to use on the ford Motorsport Z head.
Anyone know this info? The header I have now is the standard 351W header. Not a good match for the Z head. Anyone have pics?
Thanks

I thought this was done by timeline and not by size.
Are you referring to the M-6049-Z304A head >?

I'm not sure about the 402 headers or specifically what they are. But the "Z" heads do need a header that is different from what SPF supplied a few years ago. The original SPF SBF headers were for a rectangular port that was not vertically centered around the bolt holes. I know that SPF has made changes over the last few years with a few improvements to the exhaust port to header mating.
The Firefly "Z" headers are not cheap but they are a great design.

It would help if you proided the dimensions of your exhaust ports.
