A few years ago I tried to buy a used street version, a black SPF roadster, in Md. Drove to Md to inspect it. It was a beautiful car. It had sold earlier the day I actually called to buy it. If I recall correctly, the owner, at that time, went by Driver on Club Cobra. There are probably some pictures of it here. It is now for sale again on Cobra Country.
It is still a beautiful car.

I think the black one you mean is SP01973. I remember seeing it on Cobra Country back in Nov 2009, for sale by Cliff Kirby in Maryland.

And I've managed to identify a few other SPFs in 427 street roadster trim: SP01410 (blue), SP02195 (red), SP02491 (green), SP02734 (green) and SP02980 (black).

SP01075 (red) and SP01076 (yellow) are also in street trim, but both have hood scoops.

Mine too (1202). It is a Superformance street roadster, but it has a few features making less "pure" (hood scoop, full width roll bar).

As it happens SP02195 was just been listed for sale on Cobra Country. It's resplendent in solid Rangoon red, full bumpers, undercar exhaust, street dash and even the oil cooler delete, for a clean street roadster look.

*****************

For Sale: Superformance 427 Roadster MkIII, SPO#2195. Period-correct Rangoon Red/black upholstery. The BIG Picture: Click Here! Under the hood: Ford 351W 437 horsepower [dyno-tuned; you get all of the dyno stats]. BIG Photo of powerplant: Click Here! Geartrain: Centerforce clutch & pressure plate, aluminum flywheel, Lakewood bellhousing, 5-speed Tremec TKO 600 gearbox [5th gear ratio .082], Ford Thunderbird IRS [rear axle ratio 3.73:1]. The the most premium components were used to build this serpent. Please call for all the details. The rare roadster model was completed by Performance Engineering in Ross, Ohio. This serpent is endorsed by Shelby and has all of the latest updates from the manufacturer. Under 2,000 miles—it has never been raced or tracked, never in the rain or other inclement weather, and has had its oil changed every 500 miles. BIG Photo of cockpit: Click Here! Properly stored, top and side curtains were never installed. You get all the docs and records, along with additional items not mentioned here, and you’ll get no unpleasant surprises. This is Superformance’s sleek 'Roadster’ model, replicating the style of the original AC Cobras and Shelby ‘Street’ model roadsters—thus there are no quick jacks, no sidepipes [and thus no threat of your wife or daughter blistering her right leg], no rollbar, no hood scoop, no racing stripes! It was the ‘more sports car, less racing machine’ variant of the original 427 Cobra. Titled in Illinois as a 1965 Ford. Now it’s your turn to experience the thrills of this serpentine masterpiece! Health issues force me to part with this sleek beauty, so it's priced to sell promptly: $53,900 obo (will entertain all serious offers). Hope you don't mind this post, as my car is not a Superperformance, but an NAF. I think my Cobra street roadster fits your definition:

No hoodscoop
No rollbar
Undercar exhaust
Candles street gas cap
Street dash with period correct Smiths/Lucas gauges/lights/switches
Glovebox with correct handle
Full set of period correct Lucas electrics on firewall
Correct Trico washer bottle and decal
Correct DR3 wiper motor
Period correct Girling hydraulic fluid reservoirs
Round tail lights with reflector lense on bottom
Radiator intake splitter
Twin fans in front of radiator
Front and rear bumper/overriders and hoops
PL700 headlamps
Dual Stewart Warner 240A fuel pumps in trunk (I know, not Street)
Rangoon Red in color
and as an added attraction
Original set of Sunburst wheels.

I also have an original Butler built hardtop which is shaped and surface textured like a convertible top.

A few pics attached.

My Roadster has a molded-in scoop because of the RPM Air-Gap manifold and an SC dash[IMG][/IMG]
