Default CV Joint

Question- I've have a small leak just inside the right rear wheel for a few months. Very small, like one drop. Assumed it was break fluid. Finally put the car in the air to see where it was coming from. It is coming from the outer CV boot, at the bottom where the allen screws are located. I assume grease is used to pack the joint, but has anyone been inside one of these boots to know eactly what they were orginally packed with?

I bought a kit at NAPA with the correct lubricant and a tool for putting on a new clamp.

Just some oil seperating from the grease, no big deal, keep driving. If you really wanted to get it right you would get coupling grease not axle grease. It is made so the soap and oil is the same viscosity so it does not seperate due to centrifugal forces. I hate to tell you this but your current set up will only last about 150,000 miles.
