Default Changing ride-height at the backside.

Hello.

Small question: I noticed that the upper shockmounts at the rear can be lowered to the next set of holes so that the car goes up half an inch or so. Does this change allignment of the rearwheels as such, or better said, does it influence their position enough to make a difference? Or, in other words, do you need to have the car alligned again after doing this?

Ride height is easily adjustable but any changes affect mosly caster angle on the front. I'd recommend alignment after adjustments to the suspension.

I've been doing some reading on corner-balancing a car and it appears that indiscriminately changing the ride height can cause handling problems I wish I knew someone with a set of scales locally. Just something to keep in mind.

Corner weights change very little with ride height change at one end. It's the centre of gravity that's a problem especially if it's raised. Half an inch won't do much but if the rear is raised it makes it less stable because of a raised CofG combine that with a reduced caster angle and you've got a handful.
