The first Modular motors was slipped into a Superformance somewhere in 2005, actually before that around car 2100 before the production changes were even made. Randall |

Superformance Coyote
Just an FYI for interested parties:
The Superformance MKIII fitted with the Coyote Power Plant w/ the 17inch Wheel Upgrade is currently available for sale! The Price is 70,000. The Color is Solid Viper Steel Grey and it also features the "Satin Black Out Package" - where all the Chrome is finished in a Matte Black! |
sweet i bet the coyote moves is it a six speed
|
Wow your car is beautifull!!! I was hoping the new erod and coyote would bring the price of a new spf fully equipped to upper 50's, for some reason I thought they would be cheaper than a 427 stroker or big block.
Motor looks like a beast!!!! Do yourself a favor and order a braw from hilbanks keep the rock chips off the paint, i got one best money I ever spent, fits like a glove. |
madmaxx did u ever dyno your car?
|
The Coyote needs a 6 Speed. -- and for the Variable Cam timing to work in the FRPP computer.
|
seen many coyotes with 5 speeds in facory 5 1933
rods, also the 05 mustang gt comes from the factory with vvt and a 5 speed, many people swicht it to six speed transwith stock ecu. |

|
ive seen the 5.4 in a few usa cars supercharged, its gotta be a wheel spin fest, but what fun.
|
I am also glad a nicer intake is available, called "supercharger" ;-)
(I really don't like the look of the stock intake) |
Not yet, have the engine dyno, but no chassis dyno. Hopefully I will get a mid 40's day sometime soon instead of mid 70's and raining and get it done, why not take advantage of cold dense air. Maybe going with some stainless steel sidepipes so might wait.

Madmax, look at my gallery - the engine dyno and chassis dyno graphics are there. Think you have a 427R too so you should be in the same range. The only changes at my car are the intake manilfold and the carburator.
