I think that Olthoff's has a new black SPF roller in their showroom, if I recall correctly. I don't remember details.

Thanks crASH I went and saw the black car on Oltoff's site. I'll send my guy that way...although 695hp and 706# of torque might scare the S.....out of him.

Yea, me too. I'd have to wear a seatbelt AND a pair of "Depends" in that one.

I don't know that the cars on Olthoff's website have been updated recently. You might call them because I think the black one I saw Friday was a brand new roller, no engine or trans yet. I know Dennis told me he had two new rollers in stock when I called him on Thursday, and I think that was one of 'em.

cobracountry.com --- your best bet.

a better deal may be a short truck ride away.

He doesn't have to use it all at once.... Besides it is better have and not use than to need and not have! or something like that.

Steve, I agree with the Cobra Country and continue to search all the usual places but a used black SPF is all of a sudden scarce.

AL G,

The advertisement for that car is not correct. A Superformance Roadster does NOT have a hood scoop nor does it have Side Pipes. A Roadster has NO hookscoop and pipes that come out the rear end...just an FYI.

The hood scoop is a "no cost" option on a Superformance Roadster so the car might have one.

True,

However, if we are being period correct - no hood scoop, and definitely rear exhaust.

Well, just to be a PITA:

...........in the strictest sense of the term, a roadster is defined as a small, 2-wheel vehicle that lacks a permanent top. However, in recent years automakers have relaxed the definition of "roadster" (largely for marketing purposes) so that any 2-seater convertible may fit into the category. In European countries, the roadster body style is known as "spider." In England, they are known as "spyders."

It's not my advertisement and I have no interest in the car. I'm just trying to help out the OP by providing a link to a car that he might be interested in.
