Default Brighter SPF rear lights

In addition to changing bulbs to LEDs, has anyone rewired rear lights so that both upper and lower bulbs function for both turn and stop indication? This would double the light output of both. Not sure how to rewire with a flasher in the loop.

Thanks Patrick. However, I want to just add brake light function to the existing turn signal light. Following your link, Signaldynamics makes what appears to be what I want. It's a turn signal to brake conversion kit, part#01016. On line directions look easy, so Ill order one and post here if it works.

That's why it's the definitive thread.

There are a couple other things you can do. Drop me an email and I'll give you my phone number...Easier to explain on the phone than type it out...
