Default Superformance #1962

Hello again. I think I am finally making the plunge. Have been looking at Superformance #1962, and am going to make travel plans to Nevada sometime tomorrow. I am wondering if anyone here has: 1) Any experience with Dennis Ratto. He is selling the car for someone, but I guess he used to be a former Superformance Dealer. I can't quite figure out what to think of him and wanted to get a take/references from people who have done business with him. 2) Anyone have any experience or info on Superformance #1962. It seems like a beautiful car and I am very excited. I just don't want to jump into it without info. I plan on bringing it to Full Throttle Performance in Reno while I am out there for an inspection. And 3) Any advice on a good company to transport the car to Minnesota in an inclosed trailer. Thanks!

Kyle

Proof is in the pudding, who cares about him? You ain't ging to marry him. The car is what you are interested in. Look at body, paint, interior, rear end, transmission and engine in that order. These cars are transparent and problematic.

I bought my SPF new from Dennis. Great transaction with now pressure at all. Stephen at Full Throttle did the install on my car. He did a great job and you can trust him as well. If the car checks out fine, you've got nothing to worry about.

Just a suggestion, check out the history of the car (previous owners) rather than just the current owner.

The previous owners can give you a better idea of the overall use and condition of the car during their ownership. This car may be over ten years old. if the current owner has had it for the last two years, I would want to know what the guys before him did to the car and why they sold it. Obviously, if the current owner has had it for a majority of the time, then I would put more weight on his statements.

Cobra is one of the few cars where the sum of the parts are cheaper than tne car. Bottom line is they are very simplistic and easy to repair except paint

I bought #1735 from Dennis in 2003 and he was an ok guy from a car salesman point of view. Did ok in the dealer prep too, before the car was shipped to S. Cal. for motor and tranny.
