Default Electrical Issue with Fan

After sitting for 4 months I go to start the beast and I'm so excited I'm flicking the toggle switches to turn off the headlights and I catch the fan switch, on and off. The right fan stayed on. I had to unplug it. I'm no electrical wizard, but sounds like a relay or something like that. Where are the relays and what else might it be? Not that I need any fans with the temps about 50 F! So I have some time to fix it. Where do I start?

Ward, With the trunk mounted battery switch off, pull down the central electrical tray that is located under the LHS of the dash. You will see three relays stacked in a row on the lower RHS of the tray. The one in the middle is the relay that controls the RHS fan. With a OHM meter check that relay to see if it closed by testing the two outside terminals. If it is closed, replace the relay and your up and running again.

Ward,
Drop me a email offline and I'll give you my phone number. We'll get the fan thing fixed.

I talked with Blas and just as a check I hooked up the left fan relay to the right fan to discover everything was fine. The relay may have become stuck or overheated. After a couple of drives and some time it seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the help Blas. It was great talking with you.

I updated mine to a higher amperage SPAL relay - happy as a clam now.
