Passenger Side Roll Bar
I ordered a roll bar from Hillbank back in March and I'm still waiting for it. Every time I enquire about it, I'm told they just sent another email to Superformance. Have not been able to get a firm eta in almost 6 months.
Nice service.

Just call Dennis Olthoff - I'll just bet he has a few available.

Olthoff only had the taller bars so that's not an option. Meanwhile Hillbank is collecting interest on my money.

Have you tried calling and talking to Lance Stander directly? Might be worth a shot.

I could have bought another share of Apple and the return would have been a little higher than 1%.

Hillbank's last email supposedly copied in Lance to see if this can be expedited but I haven't heard a thing back.

Make sure you include the cost to buy/sell your share of Apple as well as adjust it for risk. Anyway, that's your lost opportunity cost of capital, but your prior post mentioned Hillbank is earning interest from your money. They're not.
Back to the topic. Cancel your order if you need the money, but you must realize that sometimes parts are out of stock and they sometimes take a long time to manufacture since there's a possibility that the manufacturer will wait until they have enough orders to run a bunch instead of just one.
I remember when my engine was being built. I had to wait 1-2 months because Erson was all out of stock on their roller rockers arm assemblies. This is life. We wait in line.

I'm not concerned about the interest (that was all tongue in cheek). But you'd think I could get a proper update or eta at least once in 6 months.

You'd think that Hi-Tech would have them readily available, given what we call "passenger side roll bars" are considered "driver side roll bars" by those in those in the UK

Have you tried getting status from Deborah at Hillbank (Lance's better half). She been very good with statusing deliveries for me.

I would have to agree with you, six + months is slow, why not just have a good shop or person make one for you.

Ahhh, the proverbial "slow boat from China," no doubt.
