Key ignition problems
Key ignition. When turning off my key to completely off, the engine jumps like it wants to start. any input would be greatly appreciated thank you Livvn.

Just replace the ignition switch. They are known for failures. Mostly leaving you stranded somewhere.
NAPA has a replacement, wiring is a bit different. Consult Wiring Diagram for part numbers and wiring modifications.

+1 on just replace the switch. NAPA has a heavy duty one that will work fine. Cheap and easy fix. Otherwise, like someone said, it is likely to strand you someplace very inconvenient and it only fails when you using it! Like the freeway at 5:30 pm, rush hours in Silicon Valley, while every one is honking and waving as they inch by.....

There are many switches that can be fitted retro-fitted with little issue.
One thing might be worth a look, is that has anything been modified from the stock SPF wiring , ?
