Any Idea how many miles you can safely get out of a set of GOOD YEAR billboards on the street. thank you all again Livnn.

A lot depends on the heat cycles. I have at least 4K on mine. I will put mine on for a show and thats all. Way to many heat cycles to take them back out on track.

Fred is right but not just miles and heat.
Even low usage does not stop the ozone and dry-cracking that make them marginal.

I replaced the first set of Billboards that had maybe 6,000 miles on them. The tread wear was marginal. The tread would probably have been good for another 20,000 miles.

It was the sidewall cracking from ozone deterioration, and many comments by other folks, that encouraged me to replace them. The tires were at least 8 years old when I replaced them. Take a good look at this shot of my old tire.
