What country do you want to take the car to?
I live in the Netherlands, Europe and I know that it is very hard to get a Superformance MKIII registered in Holland. Forget getting it registered as a '65 car. If it is to new (<10 years old) you have to pay extra taxes and make changes to the car to comply with all the regulations (especially emissions). I don't know about other countries. Do your homework (which you have probably done).

Hi Cheeshead!
Maybe you are right for Netherland - but you are totally wrong for some other countries like Germany and Austria.

So I got the confirmation that there are ways to register the car.
I have also upped my budget to 48-52k.
Still would prefer a deal around the Eastcoast, because of easier shipping. But am open to alternatives.
Colour: grey, black or Guardsman blue.

I being a pretty good mechanic with unlimited time and a shop to work in can take some chances. Someone like you shipping overseas and may have part availability issues need to thouroughly check the vehicle. When you receive it you want it ready to go with no major hidden surprises. If you find something in the Houston area shoot me a PM and I will evaluate it for you. Oh I wont tell you the good parts about it you will figure that out on your own.

Dan, I have a Diamond Edition SPO1977. Sorry to see you missed the deal on the first one. I would sell my car but I could not take less that 70K. Lots of extras, 5000 miles, professional build engine 351/418, double roll bars, Dark Gray/Sliver Pin Stripes. Just thought you might like to know. If not interested that ok.
Thanks Allen

Stop looking guys, I just made a deal with Rick for his sweet black SP1352.
Superformance Owners Association ** FOR SALE SITE **
Now I need to find some bumperettes (call me odd, don't like the quick jacks), and heatshields for the side pipes (wife's request) and figure out shipping.
Thanks everyone for their help, especially to Blas!!!
This forum is great and you guys are an amazing bunch of people. I'll keep on hassling you with stupid questions.
Dan
