Default Superformance Rear Differential Bushing

Anyone replace the rear differential rubber bushing with solid metal? I'm referring to the single rear bushing, not the two front bushings on the differential.

Yes. But you have to run all three. If you run one solid bushing, it will take all the load.

My car has two aluminum front mounts and the housing bolts directly to the chassis. A side note, it does transmit considerably more noise into the chassis

Yes, I plan on installing front differential solid mounts also. Did you make a new rear bracket for the differential or modify the existing? Noise is fine, this wheel hop is not.

I don't know of anyone who sells a kit so you will have to make the rear or take it somewhere. Mine was made from a couple 90deg "L"s but the fab and welding sucks! I promised myself the next time I was under there Id cut it out and fab up something new to clean it all up. Some day...
And yes, It should eliminate your wheel hop completely, just make sure you maintain your driveline angles.

Try these guys => Full Tilt Boogie Racing they have been providing IRS upgrades for the 03/04 SVT Cobra cars for a number of years. I believe their bushings are delrin not aluminum but they are quite effective. Nice drivetrain tech on the site also.
