Default SPF Trunk Latch Parts

I am in need of the two inside trunk latch parts. One is the hook mechanism that mounts to the inside of the trunk lid and the other is the loop that mounts to the inside bottom of the trunk. They seem to be different than what the other replicas use and what Finishline has. Hillbank is out and not sure when they might get more in and Olthoff doesn't have any available. The pic below is from Hillbank's site and shows the items I am in need of. Any help on where I can find and purchase them would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, James

James, did you happen to find the parts? If so, where did you get them as I need the trunk hook loop.

There is a car on eBay (Germany based?) that is being parted out (mostly chassis and body pieces). I would reach out to the seller to determine if they have any loose parts they may have that meet your need.

I would also try calling the listed number on the shopsuperformance.com site to see if they have any more available. They used to have the j-hook latch and loop listed on their site but I cannot find them anymore.
I ended up repairing my parts and reusing them. My loop had no real damage and I spent a couple of hours carefully straightening and reshaping the frame to the j-hook latch until it looked and worked as smooth as new.
I never found anyone else that sold the loop but I did purchase the latch from Finish Line. The mount holes matched up and with a few washers, it should be able line up properly to work. I used the original SPF part because it is much more robust and the j-hook latch has a tab (hidden behind the hook in the above pic) that interlocks with the d-shaped cut out slot in the opposing loop frame. This seems to help make sure that the trunk stays in place with road bumps and body flexing. Good luck in your search.
James

The latch assembly is a unique Superformance part. They are tailor fitted to each car at the factory. The hook part that is fitted to the body usually has a “twist” in it to make it properly line up with the boot catch.
