Default Switches

The fan switch took a crap i replaced it last week with a lucus replacement it lasted less then 3 flips it bit the dust just locked up would not move at all
this switch seemed very poor in its quality any suggestions as to were i could find a decent lucus toggle replacement

what type of switches do most of you use on your projects

what i use and what you may use will be two different things. i don't necessarily buy them to look like anything. i buy for the application only and match what i already have.
so i posted a link to their products page.....you have to buy to handle the particular load you have with your fan
rockers, toggles...etc.

If you are referring to the manual radiator fan switch on the dash, it is only a ground. no power load from the fans.
Unless someone did a self install without knowing how it works that is. When you say the switch "locked up" do you mean "FUSED" itself so it won't operate or just fell apart?
Consult your wiring diagram.
