Default Fuel tank sender question

I posted this on another site, but didn't get a response. Maybe you can help. Real easy.. What way does the sender float swing? Front to rear or left to right? If its front to rear can it be turned left to right? Adding a sump and want to see if there's room.

Anyone ever use one of these? http://www.centroidproducts.com/ or http://www.harmonracingcells.com/Har...dingUnits.html

Yes, I have one in my WCC. What could be the problem with rotating the swinging arm on your fuel sender unit? Are you going around corners really fast?

The gauges (Speedhut) I'm using in my new project uses that sending unit for the fuel level. I haven't tried it yet but everyone one absolutely raves about it. I'm actually more impressed with the GPS speedometer that gives the speed, time, elevation, 0-60 time and 1/4 mile time & speed. Gotta love technology.

Nothing is wrong. I want to install a Areomotive Phantom fuel pump and the only place is right behind the fuel sender. If it swings front and back I will have to replace it. I'm looking at this unit as of now also . CENTROID PRODUCTS - Computerized Tank Display - Electronic Senders - capacitive fuel gauges

The hole pattern only allows the sender to fit one way. I don't use the float style any more, I only use the ones you show.

I took mine out a while ago. I want to say it was to the side. Easy to pop out and check. What kind of sump are you looking at? I need to do something with my tank, but have been to lazy!!

I've used Centroid senders about 20-30 times over the years. I've had about 30% failure rate over time. At this point, I only use them if absolutely necessary.
