Default Speedo Light Out

I've finally gotten around to deciding to replace the speedometer light that's been out since I bought SPO2089 a few years back. I managed to squeeze under the dash, that is put my fat head between the drop down panel and the braces and, surprise! there is zero room much less get my hands in there to find the bulb . Any suggestions on how to change out the light without having to take the whole car apart?

Getting behind that dash is impossible. If I'm not mistaken, there's a bracket with some nurled nuts that holds the speedo in place. If you get that bracket off, you should be able to push the speedo out of the dash enough to get to the light.

Thx, I'll give it a shot. My GoPro has an app that will send live vid to my iPhone. Might cram the cam up there and see what gives before dismantling everything...

If you can get to the nuts that hold the speedo in place you should be able to pull the bulb socket and replace it. Isn't your speedo offset to the center? It is tight under the newer cars.

If I'm not mistaken, that bulb holder is in a spring holder so to speak. If you can worm your hand up there you can feel it in the back and simply pull it out blind and pop it back blind.
