Default Replace gasket after removing side pipes

Hello,

I'm about to remove my sidepipes while working on the car.

I was just wondering whether I need to install a new gasket or can re-use the old one (if it doesn't get damaged during removal obviously).

Don't want to be stuck waiting for a new gasket when I reinstall the pipes.

Dan

It's probably best to change it. I always have when I took mine off.

Use high temp RTV. Pick it up at almost any parts shop.

Use Remflex gaskets. They have a part number that's made specifically for spf.

Why not purchase some copper gaskets? Than way there can't be any exhaust leaks.
