No, I sold Bob M's car for the family and was then was sold to someone else outside the USA.
The yellow paint on these cars really sets it apart.
And I certainly did not mean to imply any negative comment regarding you personally Mike.

I'm starting to feel a bit guilty for posting this listing from the beginning. Talk about a tough crowd!
We have several yellow cobras in our Cobra club and IMHO, they are quite attractive and attention grabbing in yellow with the black stripes. Only slightly less IMHO when they have the white stripes.
Being a Superformance, the build should be pretty predictable and of high quality so I'm thinking the seller used good judgement in his listing. The typo about the carb is just that, a typo and not worth the silly criticism being bandied about.

Funny thing is, any other thread on this forum about Superformance cars is usually highly positive and complimentary until this one. A little cabin fever from a long winter without a chance to drive our Cobras maybe?????

I thought perhaps someone shopping for a nice Cobra this time of year may appreciate a decent deal on a nice car. Perhaps not?

Bob

Dimis,

No offense taken. I thoroughly enjoy your opinions and reading your posts. As the OP stated above, I think that it is the sign of a little cabin fever. There seems to have been an increase in negative comments in general, and I have always prided myself in providing positive comments and suggestions and felt that i had drifted a little in my last couple of comments. Back on track and let's have a good and safe driving season.

Im new here with only 5 posts and my last 2 posts said that they had to be approved by a moderator, one was a few days ago and was never posted. One was about 20 minutes ago. Could someone tell me why some of the posts go through immediately while others dont get posted. So far i like this forumn and have learned alot about my cobra, did alot of lurking before i put my order in and feel very comfortable dealing with Jay/Cashburn from what i have seen here. The daily pics of your cobras is killing me and this waiting sucks but time flies so hopefully it will be here before i know it.

I certainly didn't mean any offence either with my original "buyer beware" comment. The photo just looked post-processed a little too much. If yellow is your thing, by all means go check this car out. My brother bought a used Ferrari based off photos on ebay and got taken. I just recommend the purchaser needs to look at the car instead of just at pictures.
