Clutch Master Cylinder
Hey All,
My clutch master cylinder decided to start leaking while the car has been sitting. Looks like the easiest way to access, remove the front left tire and the cover in the wheel well to get access to both master cylinders. Just curious if anyone else has replaced theirs. My car is 1436. Any part numbers would also be good.
Thanks Scott

That's how you do it. Have patience. Slow process.

The slave cylinder was not supplied by Superformance so it will vary dependent upon your installer. What engine do you have? What transmission and do you have a steel bellhousing of a cast aluminum unit? With that info we can supply a list of possibles that you can match up to yours.

So that means I need to put the cooler next to the car with cold beers?? I don't think it will be as bad as replacing the new throttle pedal shaft, I hole!!

Just takes time and awkward arm and hand movements.
Determine the size once you remove it. Probably a Wilwood 7/8 master but the Best way to tell is to remove it and see. Different cars use a variety of sizes. Especially if the previous owner had to swap it out. Cost for the replacement kit is around $70. Everyone sells them online. Here's one from speedway. I think this is the one I replaced mine with. Been a few years. Wilwood Combination Remote Fill Master Cylinder Kit

Thanks for the web site Jim. Neither Summit or Jegs sold the 7/8" bore in a kit or separate which is the one I have. Wilwood only sold it separate but was much more!!

Don't forget to bench bleed it before installing it, or you could be chasing an air bubble when you finally do bleed the system.
