Default fuel tank vent?

How does my SPF fuel tank vent itself?
The vent tubing goes into the fill hole which is under the fuel cap.
There is not a vent on top of tank.
It must vent somewhere as i can run a full tank without a problem.

The gas cap has a tiny 1/8" hole in it. If you pull the gasket off the inside of the cap, it is like a tiny maze under it that the grooves are very very shallow. Mine plugged up causing pressure in the tank. I think that was one of my problems after running the car and shutting it down with pressure in the tank?!?!
Just got it all back to gather so I can confirm if its all good now. I drilled 3 more holes in the side of the cap, and put a .003 stainless shim under the gasket so it wouldn't plug up the grooves.

Thanks, I found that tiny mouse maze under the gasket, kinda crazy if you ask me, but it works for me.
