Default Experience Wilwood Superlite 4 Big Brake kit front 140-9482?

Hi!

I have some cracks at my front brake rotors – I do not know how deep they are so it will be better to change to new ones.
Superformance have horrible prices for the front brake rotors (around $ 450.- each) – maybe I will find a cheaper solution.

An alternative would be the “Wilwood Superlite 4 Big Brake kit front 140-9482” which should fit behind my 15” wheels.
Is someone around with this upgrade? How is the fitting of the kit? Have seen that I need special brake hoses additional to this kit.
Any additional things needed?

Will the brake balance still be ok (front to rear) after this upgrade? Is this upgrade worth some $?

Thanks in advance,
Peter

We have installed a six-piston kit with larger rotors on a customer car, but he has 17" wheels and he is happy with the brakes (however this car was new and he never drove on the standard brakes for comparison).

We have the new "take-off" rotors available and are currently working on slotted standard size rotor/hub assemblies that will price in the $275.00 per side range.

We also have complete spindle/rotor/Wilwood four piston take-off sets available for early Superformance cars that use the single piston, floating caliper system.

I am interested in your findings/installation.
I am looking to up-grade my brakes as well.

Please keep us posted.

Peter will be getting the first of our upgrade front rotors that we have developed. These are high quality units, slotted and drilled and machined for the Superformance MK III so they bolt right on to your spindle and adaptor.

And at a projected cost of $239 each are much cheaper than the factory replacement units! They replace the rotor on the Wilwood caliper MK IIIs and work with any of the wheels, 15" and up.
