Superformance on Uhaul trailer...?
Will the nose clear the front cross brace on Uhaul trailer, are you able to drive up 2x4 placed just behind the front stops to gain additional 2" height and still use the tire tie downs. Thanks for any info, been away along time and think I'll be making a purchase this week. Hall

I hauled my CSX on the U-Haul. You have to raise the ramp or the front end will drag. I did it by cutting 2x10 into three pieces like this:
x------------x
x----------------------x
x--------------------------------------x
to stagger the approach. Place the ramp on the highest point. I recall using a 10' board to cut the three pieces and give a long enough approach.

So you'll need six pieces right, three for each of the two ramps? How long is the longest piece?

8 feet in length for a Uhaul trailer is highly recommended.

Too long and the rear wheels end up on the long part of the stack defeating the third stack. Like I said I cut a 10 ft to 3 staggered pieces

Hello Hall,
Depends on your car, ive hauled many times with no issues but a 2x6 is handy. 209

I've used a UHaul for my Factory Five a few times. The frame is 4" from the ground. The sidepipe hangers are what is going to catch at the transition from ramp to trailer. All you need to do is put a floor jack under the trailer hitch and get the front of the trailer as high as possible.

Turned out to be close to me, 2007 build, 1900 miles, 351/427 stroker runs excellent.

One of the nicest engine bays I've seen.
