Speaking from experience keep it covered up if you leave it outside you don’t want the sun attacking the fiberglass you never know might use it for your car might be a good part to trade someone for something better that you could use.
just keep it out of the sun cover it

You have to temper that with the fact that moisture will build up under the cover and that the water damage may exceed the sun damage. The fact is taht neither condition is ideal. Store it inside if at all possible.

Making one of those wall things is an idea, but I've seen them done mostly with fronts.
