Electric Fuel Pump

Hi Everyone
Can anyone recommend a quiet electric fuel pump for a 427 engine?
In tank or outside

Thanks
David

Why do you want it to be quiet? The only time you'll hear it would be when you first turn on the key. Really doubt you'd hear it with the engine running.

The Holley in tank pumps that mount similar to OE come in a wide range of volumes and pressures.

They are very quiet.

Holley 12-129 is a good for carbs/no return/600+ HP

I believe Carter pumps have often been recommended for those looking for quieter pumps.

I wouldn't know about aftermarket in-tank pumps.
As for external, it will matter how it's mounted. Mounted on a panel will have a higher pitch and be like a speaker. A proper rubber isolation mounted on a something solid will keep it as quiet as it can be. If it's isolated right, you won't hear is while the engines running. At least in my experience.

I would definitely run a return line.

Thanks for to replys and recommendations, I guess I will stick with my Carter mechanical and try to make the plumbing fit.
