The cockpit looks like a small boat in those photos.

Here's a sneak peek of the 15X6.5" Borrani wire wheel on the car I'm in care of, Brent is in charge of the new car, and I'm in charge of this older car. Cheers Gentlemen.

Tom,

Looking forward to hearing more about what you and Brent have in the works!

Default Wheels, wheels & more wheels ;)

Karlos, you know that's my fetish. Finished the wheels on the silver car for this year, so I will have plenty of time for the Borrani's (A Q-Tip, with Blue Magic) around every spoke. I can put those on my coffee table since I'm not married. That folks is Heaven for Ol'TommyRot Now before everybody else wants their wheels done get in line (Serving #10 )

Well, my speedometer quit at 00009.9 miles so that needs a little love. Also, on my Mark II (289) I’ve noticed heat comes up from the exhaust/engine between the outer body shell and the cockpit and pours in around the edges of the instrument panel. I think a little insulation to prevent that will make next July more comfortable.

The Stewart Warner Speedos of the last ten years are famous for crapping out on the "9". My first one on my 289 gave up at 1999.9...the second at 999.9. They are aware of the issue with the Mexican gears in the units but don't seem to care. They sent me two replacement speedos so if you need one.

Yes, you need to seal the engine to cockpit area. I stuffed mine with some closed cell foam and reduced the heat transfer by 90%. The door hinges used to get so hot you couldn't touch them!

First time I have been able to login (from the UK) for a month. Don't know why today worked.

Regarding the OP's post - this forum is not alone - I think a number of forums are suffering because WhatsApp groups and Instabratt are what 'the kids ' want these days, as the old birds slowly fall off their perch.
