Superformance car cover
It's starting to cool down around the Dallas area, so I'm going to start minor repairs and enhancements on #968 in December.
1) Send the headers and pipes off to Jet-Hot for the silver finish.
2) Replace the leaking clutch reservoir and hose.
3) Replace the radiator hoses with the flexible metal type.
4) Find out what that damn popping sound is in the rear when changing from reverse to forward. Bushings???
But first and foremost, keep that stupid cat of ours from sleeping in the passenger's seat. (My wife will not let me shoot him) Anyway, anybody have any favorite cover brands they like? I've searched the CC site, and can't find an old thread.
Thanks

For a really nice cover contact Olthoff Racing. They sell a very nice cover that is made for the SPF and fits perfectly. I don't remember the exact price but it is comparable to any other quality cover you would find.

I have a Noah cover from California Car Cover. It's completely water proof...or damned close to it. It's made for all weather use, easy to store, easy on and off. It was $169 from CCC, and they gave discounts for Club Cobra members...I think thier regular price was $189, if I recall correctly.
I also have an original Superformance car cover...never been out of the bag. It's a cotton cover and not suitable for outdoor use, so I've never used it.

My car came with a soft flannel-lined cover WITH Superformance Logo on the front from Back East Car Covers (800-345-9003). I ended up buying a replacement cover from them about 2 years ago and it also has the logo on the front. It is my understanding that they were the original supplier of covers to Superformance for the American market.
It's a nice cover and I would buy from them, again.

Back East Car Cover phone number has been disconnected.
The Olthoff Racing guy said he couldn't reach an agreement with the cover manufacturer he liked. Or something like that.
Soooo...my cover is on order with California Car Cover Co.

Mike:
I won't ask, but let me guess, if it's made from cotton it burns and if it's made from a synthetic fiber (polyester or nylon) it melts. Another reason to wear cotton socks and jeans when you're in your snake.

Mine's a California Car Cover too. I didn't get the embroidery, though.
Now I'm having cover-envy....
Add it to the Christmas list.
You'll be happy with it.
