spf number
I found 98AM1425 stamped on the front driver's side cross member. Does this mean the SPO# is 1425? Thanks a lot.

John, that would be it. Also check the hinges on your trunk lid, as well as the down bar (in the cockpit) on the roll bar. All three should also have a 1425 stamped into them.
And if you're really adventurous, crawl under the passenger side dash and you might find some paint markings with 1425 scrawled back there.

Hood and trunk hinges have 425 stamped on them. I was told the car the was purchased new in 2001.

SPF Number
Is there a registry somewhere with SPF and manufactured years or does one have to call the factory?
I'd like to check out my number #SPO2450

I believe if you visit the Second Strike website, a Superformance registery is available for purchase there. I highly recommend all SPF owners to register ownership of their cars there too. It's an excellent way to get information to and from other car owners. The SCOF website is another excellent source for information for Superformance owners. There is a tech area open to all on the SCOF site too.

SPF Number
Hi John,
I appreciate the tip...I won't receive my car until sometime in April...It appears that I can't join SCOF until I'm in possession.
I'll keep the link and check out my number in April.
Thanks, Ivan

SPF #867, March of 2000. Heads of Ford Motorsports 392 Crate stamped 01/2000. There's a big difference of the car # and year of manufacture to determine what parts and pieces are in the car. SCOF can help you determine all these details. PM me for more detailed info.

Spf 1363
I have 1363, I bought it used it had about 8500 miles on it. It has a little over 21000 miles now. It was titled as a 2004. The only thing I hate about it is people asking if its a kit car.
