Default New Superformance SPO#2632 home safe and sound

Hi Everyone - drove almost 700 miles round trip today to pick up #2632. The purchase was smooth and we made it back safe and sound. Since I purchased based upon pictures, I was afraid I wouldnt like the car as much as the pictures...but I was wrong. The black with a titanium stripe just blew me away when I saw it for the first time. We used an open trailer with a F150 as the Tow vehicle...amost $200 in gas...

It's now at my buddies house and I will be ordering the Roush and TKO 600 early next week. My plan is to have the engine and tranny in by late October and then hook up the odds and ends during the winter. Already have the Olthoff mounts, and was able to get my base install kit from Snakepower. I'll post some pics soon. I am now officially "fired up".

Have you sat in it and practiced your shifting yet?

Hi Warren - the down side is I cant walk into my garage and sit in it. The plus side is its in good hands as you will see my buddy's garage when I post some pics. Right now it's side by side with his SPF Blue and White and boy to they look good.

Ekrupa2 - Congrats on taking delivery of your SPF! I think you're going to like the Roush 402SR w/the Olthoff mounts. BTW - you're buddy has a nice garage set-up.

Ed - Thanks. I just peeked at your gallery. Please please tell me the new pics aren't your car. I fear from the License plate it is. What happened? How bad? Anyone hurt? Is the car totaled?

Got the Bug - would you mind if I emailed you some questions on the 402SR? A few were trying to talk me out of it and wanted to talk to someone firsthand who has one in a Superformance. Thanks!

Some pics are now posted in my gallery.
