Thumbs up

The rollbar(s) and seat belts are there so that the CSIs can find the body(ies).

Do whatever you like. I prefer the single, period correct original design...gives the passengers willies, too.

Congrats on your purchase!

The single bar behind the driver gets my vote.

Just a note to this thread. If you ever want to do track events with NASA National Autosport Association, they will require a second rollbar for the required instructor. This maybe true for other groups around the country too. I ordered my car with only one and will have the second one added for this reason. I like the single bar, but I want to do track events too.

I personally like the classic look of one roll bar.

You can also order a full single roll bar from Superformance:

I think it looks much better than two separate roll bars. More effective...who knows. To each his own.

I agree with you. A full single roll bar looks better than two separate ones.
I have a single behind the driver. I like the period correct look.

It is your ride, build it for you and no one else.

Or you can have a custom full roll bar made! (check out my gallery) I wanted a different look to my Superformance. also has a support that attaches to the frame next to the trans tunnel in the passenger side (a great holly @&)#* grab for any passenger)

I ordered two and then I shimmed them up enough so if it did flip, there would be something left to identify the body...at least dental records.

I like the look of two roll bars, actually makes it look balanced.

Just my $0.02 worth.

I agree with Dennis Olthoff, " If you have two rollbars the car looks like it needs another steering wheel!"

It's strictly a personal thing but I would think in terms of resale. The vast majority seem to prefer 1 rollbar.

See, I don't have any intentions to sell mine. If I do... somebody is going to buy it with or without the 2nd roll bar. But I've talked to Mike at Hurricane and he said he'd do a single roll bar across the whole car if that's what i wanted. That is likely what I will be going with.

Not having any rollbars I'm not exactly the safey po-leece but I gotta wonder exactly what happens to a piece of plexi if the car does roll over.

Be a shame to have all that non-mussed hair on your severed head!!

Default only because I have to

Cleaning the car up today for the Australian Nationals, I was thinking it would look a lot better with 1 rollbar. Here in Australia, we have to have 2 That dinky reverse light was also "compulsory" but more easily removed than the second rollbar
