Greg, thank you for posting the additional pic. Man, the 60 series look tall...you probably lost a little gear.

As Greg mentioned, you can run 325/50's with a little shoehorning and the right wheel offsets. I'm running those on inward stretched (1") Trigos...more pics in my gallery. I also have MTs in the front...255/60's as I recall.

The Mickey Thompson ET street drag radial 325/50 15 and 275/60 15 are the exact same height. I put them next to each other off the car and sure enough they're exactly the same height. The middle strip is about 2 inches wider on the larger size, but the rest is identical.

Your 325/50 15 look pretty good with all the extra work you did to the wheels and also moving the wheel in. For me I had the 325/50 on the original hub set up with another alike looking wheel, but having .4" moved inward because of the 4" backspace instead of 3.6" backspace. Really my goal is to have the tires stick and look like they match the car. The new narrower tires stick better than my used wider that I replaced. I'll let you know how they work at the strip.

The owner of this Superformance uses the 275/60 15. It looks like he pulled a 1.5x 60ft and a 10.9x pass at the strip off easy start using a 427 small block. He has a picture of the tire and a video on his web page. I hope I can pull the same 60ft time this Saturday at a club event.

I'll probably buy the Mickey Thompson 255/60 for the front too. They really do work great for average on the road use. Right now I still have some BFG radial TAs in the 255/60 15 on the front.

Let us know how you do! It's probably the narrower tread patch that makes the 275's appear taller.

It looks like the drag day event DA was 2700ft to 3300ft give or take between 11:00AM and 1:30PM, Speedworld Arizona. I had some problems hooking. I think it had more to do with track prep and surface temperature. All the other guys had problems hooking too.

My best pass was 11.024 @ 129.399, 1.812 60ft, 11:11 AM about 2800ft DA
