Default First Video

Ok this short clip isnt the best quality but it is my first video of driving #2632. Its been a long road - picked up the car in September...installed the powertrain over the winter...had some issues to work out with the motor...and brought it home a few weeks ago (it was at a good buddy's home since pick up where we worked on the install). The first few rides have far exceeded my expectations.... Still getting used the car and breaking it in. This short acceleration was a tame one (nowhere near WOT). I think I'll put on 1000 miles or so before I have the courage. Hope to meet the local owners soon.

Eric
Congrats on getting your SPF on the road, but please do not try to make movies by holding the camera when driving. At least get one of those suction cups I mentioned on my video thread. They cost about $10. A lot cheaper than fixing an SPF stuffed into a tree.

OR

I'll come out for a couple of weeks and break in the car for you while you are at work. I'll throw in a free video for every ride. I'll even pay for the gas.

How does that sound?

Steve - thanks!

Warren - I promise that was the first and last video by hand. I will get a suction cup mount ASAP. If you want to make the trip, by all means the keys will be yours. Not many people say Detroit and Vacation in the same sentence.

Eric
here is the link for the suction cup I mentioned. Just thread it onto the base of the digital camera, and stick it onto the dashboard. Not for use with a video camera, but works great for a digital still camera that also records movies.
