Default SPF Car Cover???

Hey Folks need some help:

CAR COVER FOR SPF

At the last WSCB I saw a super looking BLACK SPF car cover. Looked very close to the factory original (white) BUT in black. Had the standard "Superformance" printed on the front. I was never able to meet the owner and I can't find a dealer who offers this cover.

Any help out there?

THANKS!

I know that California Car Covers makes covers in different colors (including black) for Cobras - I think they will even do custom embroydery as well...

You could paint your car black then you would save not having to buy a black cover...........

I have a tan cover from Griott's that I love. I got it with the car from Gear6Performance. Easy to put on and fits perfectly, very snug.

I've never seen the black cover.

Hillbank sells the tan flannel cover for $239.

I bought a gray flannel cover from Dynamic Motorsports when I bought my car. It's a nice cover and I know it was less than the one Hillbank is selling...probably subsidized by having Dyanmic's name and phone number printed on it.

I went with Calcovers, they offer many choices. I went with their "softweave" which allows for some use outside (read car shows, trips) but is mainly good for the garage. It's soft, doesn't hold dirt and washable. Also, their site offers a custom fit which on my car is nice and tight but doesn't require two people to put on w/o scratching the paint. I've got to say after three years, it still looks new and the elastic is still strong. Make sure to select "Cobra" in the first pull down then after selecting the rest of the tabs, fill a little info in the free text box about the car...they'll do the rest. http://www.calcarcover.com/cover_find.aspx

I had a California Cover for my SPF too. It was also the soft weave material.. and it fit like a glove...

Thanks much for the replies. Powershift: Nice cover!

Still looking for the SPF owner who has that black cover with "Superformance" printed across the front.

I did check with my wife who assured me that I did in fact see it and it was not the result of a distorted memory brought on by too many cervezas at the BASH!!

Thudmaster: Thanks for dinner Saturday at IHOP. We had a good time but were bombarded by bugs on the way home.

I'm pretty sure you can order a cover from Cal Covers minus their logo.. and get custom stitching instead. I also have a black Cal Cover for my 2003 SVT Cobra.. and had them stitch COBRA on the nose.

Of course.. I don't have a shot of the front of the 03's cover on my lap top though...

Terry
Someone told me that Superformance sells a car cover as an option. Check with your rep. Of course, you could always buy a cover (from Cal Car Cover, for example) and have the "Superformance" stitched into the front.

I bought my cover from Cal Car Cover. Nice cover.
