Cobra vs ferrari 430
here are the long overdue pics of my MKIII and some impressions:
we went out for a nice drive and lunch today. went to my buddies house with the cobra and he hopped into his F430.
we did some nice pulls and man is the cobra strong.....the F430 stands no chance in straight line acceleration.....
i do not take the cobra to speeds over approx. 160 km/h....whatever speed up to that mark the cobra is one hell of a fast car.
despite the wheels spinning, the tail sliding and having to shift a rather unprecise TKO-600 tranny the cobra really flies away.
on one run, my buddy had a clear jumpstart and i was in second gear at around 1800 rpm. i thought about abandoning as i thought i would have no chance but instead just mashed the throttle. in no time i was by his side and by the time i shifted into third i was clearly walking away. massive power really....good fun !
