Default Has any solved the r/r SPF rattle yet?

Hi all,

I think I just to hear the dreaded r/r suspension(?) rattle / clunk noise from my SPF over bumps today. I recall this thread floating around several times in the last couple of months. Has anyone found & solved their noise yet? I just noticed at lunch, so I have not had a chance to get under the car yet.

Andrei

I believe it's usually the right front differential mount or the CV joint hitting the lower control arm.

Check your sway bar bolts, and shock bolts. And by your car number, I see you fall into the fuzzy area where there was an issue witht the bolts on the calipers not having enough loctite used during final assembly, so check those too for sure....PM me and I'll send you the details...

I am trying to check only a couple of things at a times, so I know for the future what actually fixed it. So far it is not the roll bar, lower control arms, side pipes, lower shock bolts or gas tank. Tomorrow night I will cross more off the list and hopefully have a quieter drive home!

Isn't this what Randy Rosenberg was experiencing with his SPF? I clearly remembering him jumping up and down inside his car in order to show us some type of noise from the rear of the car.

I had the same thing. #2807 I installed these rear brackets:
http://performanceunlimited.com/cobr...sionmount.html
Noise went away.

It could be the rear springs moving around in their perches. My front springs were too wide. Hillbank put in 4 new springs and shocks.

Good luck

I had this problem last Friday after I stopped for lunch.

Some A-Hole opened my gas cap and left it open. Probably looking to see if it's real.
