I would have to confirm. But I believe it was delivered to the dealer with the breather installed.
Did talk with Kirkham Motorsports today, and the are sending a kit that should sove the problem.
Apparently a fix is to disconnect the breather from the differential overflow, and connect their set to where the dff oil cooler would be connected. I don't't have much detail yet. But they are sending pictures, instructions, all necessary parts, including hoses, plug, filter, etc.
They did say that the wing gear(?) is so close to the overflow plug, that it is difficult to prevent oil from being flug into the overflow in this application.
If I misunderstood anything above, I will correct it when I receive the kit.

What you're doing is what's in my post #3 of this thread, except in my Shelby I used a Wilwood catch and you'll likely use a Kirkham (nice!).
The only PITA is reaching the port without removing any panels. It can be done as long as you're not a really big guy. Very simple job but hard to reach.

Well, it looks like the recommendation is exactly what you did. The catch can I received is a Wilwood as well. Did your differential have a elbow already installed, or (like mine) a plug that has to be removed, then an elbow added. A braided hose is connected to the elbow, then run to the catch can in the trunk.

Just wondering where your Wilwood catch can is mounted. The picture I have from Kirkam shows it inside the trunk.

On the Kirkham, it's mounted on the square diagonal down tube behind the driver seat, as high as possible.
On the Shelby, the down tubes are round... , so I mounted high on the right wall, just rear of the fuel pumps.
You can wing it a bit, just make it secure and high, but the lid accessible.

Thanks, that helps a lot. On mine there is a large square panel on the right wall of the trunk. The electric fuel pump is mounted there and there is plenty of room to mount a high catch can. Also there is room in the opening for the fuel lines for a breather line to go through too.
Removing the top plug on the diff, and replacing it with the 1/2" elbow will be tricky part.

That's the final slap in the face. Now that you've gone through all this, your catch will probably be bone dry from here on out, especially with the extra tubing and care you took to make sure your diff level is correct.
