About shipping for these lifts(Backyard Buddy). Normal shipping fees are $180.00. But being that I live in the boonies it would have cost me about $500.00 to deliver it to my door. I delivered it to the next town over from me for the $180.00 fee and had a flat bed tow truck take it off of the shipping company truck and deliver it to me for $70.00. The tow truck driver used the winch on the truck to pull the package off of the shipping company truck and on to his flat bed. When the tow truck driver arrived at my house he tilted down the flat bed and used the hoist to lower the package in my driveway. It is a very big package 3'x3'x14' and 1600lbs. You can move all of the pieces around by yourself (I am only 160lbs) except for the two ramps. I moved them around by using my engine hoist and chains and balancing the ramp. These ramps are 14' long and about 375lbs for the one with the hydraulic ram under it. One ramp has a hydraulic ram that pulls the cables that lift the ramps. The instructions are easy to follow and the assembly is not difficult at all. My lift was about $3100.00. The company through in three huge drip pans, the 220 volt motor option and. a sliding jack platform. Since I have be using a lift to work on my cars I don't ever want to crawl under another car again.
