kits to accept 460, toploader & 9" solid rear
Any words of wisdom will be appreciated. My donor car was a
1973 Lincoln. I found a good used wide ratio toploader.
My 460 is almost done, well built with cj aluminum heads and lots
of other nice pieces.
Next project is to narrow my rear axle.
OK, I'll get to the question.
Which kit works well with the 460 and solid rear axle?
SPF is out. I am in it for the fun of building, and would like to
spend around 15k on the kit.

Antiques and Collectibles, ERA, EM (?) Classic Roadsters, especially if you're a big guy, Shell Valley, Mid States, JBL...
Somebody help meeee! I think you can order a FFR Cobra too if you tell them what's going in it.
Dan, where in Michigan? Lot of great Cobra members up North.
DV.. Hurry, you'll be able to make DVSF III !

Talk to Bob at Midstates
http://midstatesclassics.com
I have a 460, and 9" rear, and there are plenty of people with toploader transmissions in them.

DV,
FYI, we don't support any Ford differential.

Many kits will accept a 460. All will accept a toploader. But don't limit your choices because you have a 9" rear end that you want to put to use. Do your research on the choices available to you, and see examples of the brand you are thinking about before putting any money down.
