Brake bleeding idea
I just tried this and it works good when flushing brake system and installing very expensive Castrol SRF fluid.
First drain master cylinder resevoir down to 1/2 full. Next put a few drops of some red or any color food dye in in the remaining fluid in resevoir and mix. Next bleed each wheel till you see the colored fluid. Go to next wheel and bleed down till the master cyl resevoir is just empty. Next fill resevoir with fresh fluid and start your brake bleeding as you normally do. when the colored fluid stops and the new clear fluid is visible you have completely flushed that wheel cyl.
No guessing as to when the fresh fluid has filled the system. This takes a little time but you don't want to waste brake fluid that costs $38.00 a pint.
I used red dye as it is easier to see.
