Default Bolt on PSE GT 40 wheels on ERA?

I've been considering ordering PS Engineering 15" bolt on GT 40 wheels (I know, I know, I should get knock-offs, but I prefer to know they're bolted on), but they cannot be made in the exact back spacing that ERA recommends. Does anyone have 15" bolt on wheels on their ERA?? If so, could you tell me what the specs of the wheels are? Does it have the correct wheel to fender "look"? I would appreciate any pictures you could show me.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Hi chaplin You are buying one of the best cobras built today, why would you want on put lug nut lugs wheels on your car??? When properly installed and safty wired, you have no problems to worry about, except a flat tire. Any good tire place can fix it with no problem. You can get a safety clip for each wheel through ERA. Talk to Peter P or Bob P. about your worrys. I have 15" and 17" wheels and tires and both look great on the car. The 15" are for street and the 17" are for roadracing and autocross. Get a 4lbs. brass or deadblow hammer to knock the spinners on and off the spindels. I think you will be very happy with the latter choise. Good luck with your car. Rick Lake ps Mike get the car together and ask pete if he has a set you can put on your car, you will like the look. People at Run&Gun use knock off, I have not seen a wheel come off yet. Some of these cars are racing in the 150 mph speeds with no vibration or loose problems happening.

(Censored comment.)

Bob-
Apparently the minimum back space Phil can do on the bolt-on wheels is a 4" back space- I think you recommend 3 5/16". Also, the PSE bolt-ons have the following dimensions: front rim 15 x 7.5; back rim 15 x 9.5. I think you recommend 7" wide in the front and 10" in the rear. I suppose they are close enough that they would work, but would it "look right"? After all, the look of the rear fenders/tires is what made me decide to buy an ERA in the first place. I don't want to wreck it by putting on wheels which throw off "the look". If I get pin-drive, Phil can make them to the required back space.
Do you know if Team III makes a GT-40 style wheel?

Rick-
Maybe you're right, maybe I should go with knock-offs, buy a BFLH (Big F***in' Lead Hammer) and stop worrying about it.

Actually the minimum backspace for the GT40 wheel is 4.5 inch,it cannot safely be made any smaller(the face would have to be milled to thin)I woud agree to go with a spin on wheel for the ERA,it just looks right! chuck
