Question Engine Codes

I need some help with regard to the identification of my engine. Who knows where I can find details on the Web e.g. a table of all the codes used by Ford in the past. Does anyone know what "KF" means ? Your help is appreciated. Regards, Walter

Walt,
you can find Ford casting codes at http://www.pacificnet.net/~fastoso/castingcode.html
but not sure about other codes. I checked their info and they show "F = Outside USA, Trans Am racing", but they don't show a K (except for a month code, K=October).
