Question FIA 289 expansion tank

Where is the tradional mounting location for the Harrison expansion tank on 289 FIA??? THANKS

on the originals, it mounted on the upper cross member for the tranverse mounted leaf spring.

I have thought about mounting one on my Contemporary 289, but, alas...no cross memebr to mount it on.

I have only seen the ERA 289 mount it correctly as well as the SAI and Kirkham cars.

Hawk cars in the UK mount the expansion tank in the correct place and in the correct way ,they can provide you with all the necessary fixings.
